The Annual Show of Northern Ireland Branch-British Driving Society took place on

Saturday 5 July 2008 in Londonderry Park, Newtownards (kindly granted by Ards Borough Council).

The weather was rather inclement, the Show entries were good and the spectators viewed  from their transport. Judges were Mrs Jo Halnan-Blackwell (England) and Mrs Sophie Adkins (England) selected from the panel of British Driving Society Judges.

The Contours D'Elegance and Show Drive was Judged by The Mayor of Ards Councillor Jim Fletcher.

Show Director was Mr John Powell {Lambeg, Lisburn). Mr Stephen Wilson, (Maze) vice chairman and Chief Steward was assisted by Mr Stanley Stewart (Dromore), Mr. Jim Crumlin. (Newtownards), Mr Paul King (Ballynahinch), Mr. RJ McConnell (Annalong). Mrs Leslie Ann Homer fulfilled the duties of hospitality hostess. Show Funders are Ards Borough Council/Ards Tourism.
